Overlay Ads in Instagram Reels are new ad spots while watching videos. These ads are already available on Facebook Reels in single image or carousel formats.

Key points:

⭐️ Overlay Ads appear as banner ads at the bottom of the screen during video playback.

⭐️ Two types of ads:

• Single Image Ads: Static banners that appear after Reels start.

• Carousel ads: A scrollable series of 2-10 images.

⭐️ Access to new placements is possible through Ads Manager by selecting Advantage+ or setting up placements manually.

⭐️ In addition to overlay ads, full screen ads can appear between Reels.
